Anyone have a LS swapped 3+3?
from what I've read, the 8.1 swap w/allison.....you'll have the power, but not any gas mileage. That along with it not being that popular in the after-market community, sorry but good luck. Please prove me wrong, I've got access to both in my price range.- Camar068

Yup...lesson learned from last time, going with studs. Actually there's a cool video on utube that compares a lot of them. I went with PQY due to the video and reviews on the web. Me, I'm a felpro guy- Camar068

don't know what they are called, but there are screw in rubber bushings of different sizes. rubber spacer- Camar068

cleaning aluminum parts in the big ultrasonic cleaner. 2 cups dawn in 20 gallons of water/no power to heating elements = right. 1/2 gallon dawn in 20 gallons of water/no power to heating elements = left. Left did reach 130° just with the ultrasonic process alone. More dawn helped heat and... -

Tool battery mod with pics
I'd think one is just as good as the other. BUT I've often wondered if they tack them because they could do it quickly and less heat to the battery internals as compared to soldering. -

Got my first ticket today. I thought the speedometer was 5mph fast, that and I was picking up speed to get up a big hill (engine needs help lol). Guess I hit 80 on the speedometer AND tested after the ticket....gauge is dead on. He was nice enough after my explanation to drop it to 5mph over... -
Sea Foam
I put 2 caps of it in my early 2000's weed eater (about 20 yrs old). It wouldn't crank before or wouldn't stay running. After the sea foam, I thought it was literally going to blow up it was so responsive. I proceeded to whack the weeds as fast as I could lol. Sea foam....love it.- Camar068

Windshield Wiper Pulse Issue
Was dealing with this same issue for years. Replacing the wiper motor fixed it. Wish I had done it sooner. Utube for vids on how to change it.- Camar068

Researching for the LS rebuild, I found an EngineTech rebuild kit on Amazon for $665 (lower than anywhere else). Come to find out, it appears that the selling vendor could be swapping out parts w/o telling the buyer....from my impression from the reviews. So I went on RA and built the same kit... -

for now just a BTR torque cam. Nothing special. May install take the larger injectors with me when I get it dyno'd. See if it's worth it. Maybe headers in near future. lol mainly stock though. When the first one was installed, I was happy....then it just seemed to go down hill after 3... -

Loaded up the LS block that locked up last year to take to machine shop. Full rebuild coming. Bah....picked the blurry pick lol. Anyway, tired of dealing with used engines and not knowing the TRUE history of them.
