1 ton wheels on 1/2 ton truck?

You can maybe check what size the blazer used on the cucv tires and see if they were E-rated. Not sure to be honest.

    Good Deal

first one doesnt mention miles and the second one is a little more than I would pay for a 5.3 wil 200K+ on the clocks.... Mebbe I'm just picky though.

    recommend a portable garage..

Wind is not usually a problem if you tie them down ok but what you want to make sure of is that they have enough support to shed water and not allow it to pool up and collapse the enclosure. You don't want to know why I know that, lol. I came home one weekend and my 10 x 10 sun canopy had...

    6.0 Header Bolts

Just buy a good set of header bolts that are replacements for OEM and you will be fine. I think what causes the problem with them breaking is the dissimilar metals between the aluminum heads, steel bolts, and the metal of the headers. If you want to use precaution use some stainless header...

    33x12.5 and lift

I can't speak for trucks but all my K5's have fit 33 x 12.50 sized tires on 15 inch inch wheels with stock back spacing and I have never needed a lift. In some extreme offroad situations I had a little rubbing on the front corner of the wheel well but it didn't do anything other than chip paint...

    I wanted a small tachometer so. .

Took a moment to realize I was looking at 2 different trucks!. I am thinking of going with the black 4 spoke style like the lower picture. I think it is all one piece though, very similar to the OEM 4 spoke style that is currently in mine.

    I wanted a small tachometer so. .

Yeah I have never been a fan of that stuff on top of the steering wheel for an automatic. Too much loose and exposed wiring for my taste

    I wanted a small tachometer so. .

Yeah that is a very nice spot. I know I have been thinking of how to add an analog tach once I finish my LS swap and although I am swapping to a 91 cluster I don't really want to do that gauge that replaces and moves the fuel gauge because I think you lose your 4wd indicator light or something...

Nice addition and way to keep it on a smaller scale.

Are you sure you want best or affordable? Some people say best, then the see the price, and determine they can live with something less than best...

Body mounts for cab and core support

ebay, lmc, and a lot of other autoparts online stores will usually have them in rubber. Your probably going to need bolts and nuts too FWIW.

86 GMC 4” Rough Country to Deaver Springs 4”

That makes sense. I sent a message to Deaver to get a quote on the front springs and ubolts yesterday. Pricey but if they give a good ride then I think I'd be OK with spending that money. I think I'd like to do the hanger flip in the rear and do the front springs but I'm worried about the...

    np 241 tranfercase

You would have to read the pinout chart at ls1tech. I am pretty sure the colors are the same over the years for the most part though. You just have to double check the pinout numbers and the wire that is there though because sometimes tuners use leftover wire from what they have pulled from...

    windshield

Last time I checked safelight gave me a quite for around 200 bucks installation and that was with me providing the window. Seems about on par given the circumstances. They are great for convenience and timing!

lift for a 2 wheel drive truck ?

Cute doggo first and foremost, and the problem you will have with tires larger than 31 inches is when the front springs compress it will compress considerably more than a 4wd compresses so the wheel well is going to eat your tire much more easily. That being said you could swap c20/30 springs...

It's a great day, no more POS Sniper!

Seems like every time i read about someone trying these TBI FI setups they end up being problematic, ushering in a ton of parts replacement to make them work, and then they really never offer any advantage over what would have amounted to a stock TBI setup, other than the fact that you can put...

86 GMC 4” Rough Country to Deaver Springs 4”

Are the links on the end of your sway bar just to accommodate the lift? and are they better then using the extension brackets that usually mount on the frame points? Seems like they might be a better method for having sway bar droop be proper and having the strongest connection on the frame...

    windshield

I think you can even get a new windshield from the LMC catalog for less than 200 but then they bend you over the barrel on shipping.

    4l80 2a np205

Also, I was always under the impression that the np205 had a bracket that mounted it to the frame with bushings??? If you are planning on romping it hard offroad you might want to rethink the support you need. There is an old like here of the 67-72 sites... It's kinda been beat to death...

I don't know now, lol.... I dare you to go type 1991 V30 tranny rod in google and see what results you get.... I think it's simpler to say their may have been one OEM in that year, but consider the point everyone makes every time this subject comes up.... One, as I pointed out its going...

    4l80 2a np205

Pretty much no, not now. May as well Ditch the rod anyways though because it will no longer be long enough. The 4l80e is a few (or more) inches longer than the standard trans or a 400 that would have come out of it. You'll also need to plan on relocating your cross member back some (no...

Depends a lot on the builder and heat management to be fair. I have seen some stump pulling big blocks backed up with 700r4's and they had a long and happy lifespan

Any claim will affect your annual rate, not sure about your coverage though. FWIW if it isnt much of a chip I would just have it repaired. Last one I had done was practically invisible unless I got out and searched for it.
