Does hood need removed to remove fender? Replacing door hinges.

And no, the hood does not need to be removed to remove the fender but there are 2 hinge bolts attached to the fender you will have to remove. Just scratch around it before you release the bracket so it'll be easier to realign when putting things back together. And you will have to use a stick or...

Does hood need removed to remove fender? Replacing door hinges.

You may have to weld in a back up plate behind the striker. Make it plenty oversize and then drill holes through the area around your striker to weld through to it. As far as the hinges go, they are not attached to the fenders. Just have to remove the bolts at the rad support and the inner...

    Painting interior trim

I painted mine black from blue as well. The only trouble I've had with the paint is it scratches off in places, like at the window roll up handles. Friction from your hand wears through.

    Garage Heater Question

You might also consider one of the old Warm Morning stoves. People used to use them to heat their houses back in the day. Some folks still use them. I believe they can be either propane or natural.

Thanks for the quick reply. Not at all where I thought it might go. Where I thought it went was on the gear piece that the ignition rod connected to bit I found that not to be the case. thanks again.

    Steering column

Hello all, Have a question about my 84 steering column. I took it apart to replace the wiper/turn signal switch. Had to pull the ignition switch also. In putting it all back together I have a leftover spring that I don't remember removing. I'm thinking it has something to do with the ignition...
