    You have it easy. At least you can get a grill for your truck. The 83 and 84 grilles are non existent and no one re pops them. My 84 grill is held on with silver tape, and 2 of the original screws.

    I believe Precision has them now. I was also told the original gasket would work but don't know. When I bought an OEM slider a few years ago, I got the gasket with it. Only paid $100 for it and it came off of another 84 so lucked out. Sorry this is a late post.

    Flywheel tooth count

    The starter worked fine for a few weeks but now it really "screams", and occasionally won't even turn the engine over. Can't figure out why. Just a big clunk, then nothing. I keep trying and it will eventually start.

    I'm still looking for a plastic or metal storage tray for my 84. American Van shows one, but when you go their website, they don't even carry it. I'll work on building my own I guess.
