    Have you heard something? I found an 81 grill in one of my catalogs, Classic Parts, I believe I'm going to get. My 84 grille is only held on with the 2 screws on top and a lot of metal duct tape

    Tire size confusion.

    My 84 came with 235 85R16's on it yet I find vendors telling me they won't sell me them that it's supposed to have the 215 85R16. My door placard says otherwise(235 85R16)

    Check FB Marketplace. I found one for $50 in Prescott. Also check your local used car dealers. I found an 80's metal one in the back lot. They never mention them so ask.

    Same one I put in my 84. I was thinking of an underbed mount, but then got to thinking. What if I have to change my tire in the rain or miserable type weather? I don't want to be laying in the water, mud etc.

    Funny this article came up. I have a roadyxt that was in my 65 Suburban years ago and now want it in my 84 Sierra. I just need to get aFM Direct Adapter. Found one on Amazon so will get it and install it when I get the truck running again. I have an aftermarket AM/FM CD player in it.

    Air Cleaner Stud

    As mentioned above and as I've done. Threaded rod. Measure, ad nuts to each end, cut to length, round/smooth the ends then use the nuts to clean the threads and your good to go.

    That's the exact kit I bought. When I get my "new" engine in, I'll have it installed. It currently has a dual setup, but the pipes were cut off about 6" behind the mufflers.

    My whole dash on my 84 Sierra is blue, including the gauge bezel. I will eventually do the column the same blue, as I hate black, except on the tires.

    My current crate engine is black, but I'm getting a replacement engine, and having my mechanic paint it GM Blue, that I found on Amazon. All my GM trucks, 65 Chevy II, and an old 69 GMC Handi-Van all had orange engines. I want something different as this is my last vehicle
