Fuel filler issue. This can’t be right.
Today's fuel pumps at the stations run a lot faster than they did when these trucks were new-10 years old. We have to run modern fuel station pumps at the slowest setting, and as some have said, pull the nozzle out some to get a nice, smooth, fuel flow.- BadBowtie

What years will Instrument clusters work for an 86 with auto trans and a/c?
Basically. They interchange from 1976-91. But, if you want to retain your 1986 cruise control, 1983-91. If you find a manual trans cluster, just swap in your original 1986 transmission shift indicator plate and needle. Wheel almost fell off while driving…help
I would replace ALL of the wheel studs AND buy new lug nuts if it were my truck. Adding those massive tires do wonders to 35+ year old wheel studs. Be safe- BadBowtie

85 grille to 82 grille swap questions
You will either need to grab the 1981/82 front bumper and run your turnsignals down there or make some custom brackets to use your factory 1983-87 parking lights behind the 1981/82 grill without provisions for grill mounted turn signals.- BadBowtie

454 getting pulled from suburban.. new cam?
