    TH400 slushy shifting.

    6.2 Diesel, tons of isses with vacuum regulator. Check vacuum to modulator. 14-16" at idle must decrease with throttle, 0" at WOT. If all good then adjust modulator clockwise if it's adjustable. Make sure it's right, I've rebuilt many 400's failed or missadjusted regulator.

    Yes you can swap just input gears in a NP208, Between 27 and 32 spline. I've done it many times, it may be tougher locating a 32 input.

    Fun you mentioned haveing a spare. I spoke to several guy's in my neck of the woods with military trucks or run these engines, they all claim to have a spare engine !

    I've use several of these, best option to replacing the case. Also upgrades to the larger 4l60e low roller. Just my opinion and experience.

    Dead in the water.

    Check pressure or pull a cooling line, like suggested. Thoughs early th700's are notorious broken pumps, also input sprags. If it's the sprag it should try to move in D321. If the pump is broke check your flex plate closely. Transmission Rebuilder 30 years!

    Charlie, 50 series on both, Chevelle has Delta Flow, K20 has Big Block series. I think, they may be both one or the other. Differance, the Chevelle has 3".

    Another vote for Flowmaster. Have them on my 71 Chevelle PT GMachine etc. I tried Magnaflows on my K20 they weren't overly loud, but had a terrible drone and I just didn't like the sound. K20 stock manifolds 2.5" pipe X behind the tcase tail pipes behind rear wheels, more or less in stock exit...

    If your going to run slicks or sticky DOT tires with that much HP. You with probably have to pony up for a 9" or Dana 60.

    Decreasing backlash will more pattern inwards, but your allready at .008. .006 is tightest I'll go. I'd take .002-.003 out from the pinion. For what it's worth , most of those aren't that bad.

    You need a dual lip seal, or two small singles back to back.

    Windshield antenna

    I have an amplifier on my windshield antenna, it definitely helps. I belive an external will get much better reception. I stayed with it, one less thing to get ripped off on the trails.
