What have you done to your square lately??

Thank you. You can’t imagine how much I hear this. What people don’t know is at today’s prices, $413.99 a pop, I don’t this this too often. Well ok, occasionally I will. If no one gets the photo rally later tonight, I’ll post up something there hopefully you may like:rolleyes: Not enough for...

What have you done to your square lately??

Knocked the dust off of her and started polishing & waxing. Got everything but the front chrome & the wheels and tires when the mail gal comes walking in the garage with a package….the PowerBlast plates. They were packaged really well with bubble wrap and in a box that was clearly marked...

What have you done to your square lately??

Spent a good part of the day cleaning. A lot under the hood. Rubbed the blower case with Nevr Dull, then Meguires polish followed but a thin coat of Ibiz wax to help repel the Fall moisture. Rubbed the carbs down with Nevr Dull. The coating repels the moisture also. A bunch of work, but in the...

What have you done to your square lately??

Started the day by removing the discharge nozzles. Had to take my time so I wouldn’t drop the teeny gaskets so it took all of 2 minutes The shotgun scoop needs to come off in order to clean and recharge the filters. And it’s a major pain in the butt to do so. It’s held in place thru the...

What have you done to your square lately??

Pulled the scoop and filters to wash and re-oil them. Since some goodies for the carbs will be here Monday, I figured I’d just leave everything off until then and start cleaning for our “unofficial” cruise-in on the 19th. Hopefully word of mouth will still bring in plenty of cars. Thanks COVID...

Damn space aliens are messing with me again !!!!

The garage monkey seems to take stuff that I know I put in a certain spot. After tearing the place apart and replacing whatever it may be, I’ll find it in the house. Bad habit of carrying something around and unconsciously laying it where it doesn’t belong.

My Rear End Build For My Low Buck Street/Race Truck

Do you happen to have any pics of the wagon? I realize back then cameras were never handy. I never owned one until later in the 80s.

My Rear End Build For My Low Buck Street/Race Truck

Just a few questions to understand. Driver or building for track? 1/8 or 1/4? Assuming 1/8. You say wheel spin, street tires or slicks. Assuming street. 5.13’s will get you started but need ponies to finish it off. They would be fun on the street tho.

IMO, I think that would work. Too much chrome overpowers the patina.
