Brake drum adjusting hole cover
Yeah, the backing plate holes must be for checking lining wear. Backing plates have no holes that allow access to the adjuster. The backing plates have the metal plugs.- WFarm

The holes in the drum work as you describe @Goldie Driver, providing access to the adjuster. It was the plugged holes in the backing plate I was referring too. Maybe they allowed you to check brake some wear?- WFarm

Those look exactly like the metal plugs I found on in the backing plate. Not sure what those holes are even for as they don’t provide access to the adjusters or anything else I can see.- WFarm

Brake drum adjusting hole cover
I’m finishing up the rear drum brakes on my 75 Blazer and was looking for the metal plugs used to cover the adjusting screw hole in the drum. Does anybody make these? I assume the rubber plugs for the backing plate would be a bad idea for the drum.- WFarm

1969 Boss 302. Looked like it as going 100 mph parked in the driveway. Blast to drive! When I moved to the farm I just didn’t have time for it, or a good place to keep it as there was no shop, no barn at that time. Sure wish I had it now!- WFarm

75 Blazer door sill plates
I did. Got the front sections from LMC and fit perfectly. The short rear sections must be unique to the Blazer. So far I have not found them. -

Got this very cool USA made Graham Tool tube beading tool! It rolls a bead on both 1/4” and 5/16” steel or CuNi tubing. From reading, it was designed during WWII and for some reason it is still prohibited from export. You’d figure the rest of the world would have figured it out by now. :D... -

Picked up my seats from the upholstery shop today. Quite pleased with them! They were able to keep the little emblem/medallion thingies and reuse them as I requested. They had enough extra vinyl to cover the plastic panels on the back of the front seats which was a nice touch. -

Took all the seats out. Tomorrow I’ll load them up and take them to Roanoke to be reupholstered. They’re not in bad shape, but are faded and the drivers seat has a few tears in it. Haven’t completely decided if I want a custom look or keep it as factory as possible. Got a chuckle over the .22... -

I’d guess the double can is for 4-cycle mower gas for the big tank and 2-cycle gas/oil for the weed eater for the smaller tank. -

Took a fall drive to enjoy the fall colors. Obviously we were also collecting many of these leaves! :D At least in VA this time of year the Asian Lady Bug things are looking for a winter home. Must be a thousand of the things in the shop! Really no way to keep them out so after a good frost... -

A couple suggestions @TX87R10 : Install the missing chrome moulding on the sides, matching what’s on the rear. Clean up the engine bay a little more. Remove the black overspray from the windshield fluid reservoir. Do what you’re comfortable spending to freshen up the interior. Seat covers...- WFarm
