Changed the engine oil and filter in the Blazer. Also changed the transmission filter and replaced the old steering stabilizer. All the old fluids looked great and saw no metal in the trans pan or on the engine drain plug. Next up as far as maintenance items is changing the fluids in the... -

Got the Blazers alignment dialed in as it wanted to wander and not track straight. Much better tracking now. Alignment shops always remind me of a note written on the wall by a shop phone many years ago. "Ford truck be goin down road waddlin like a fat duck" -
About to get my first cummins truck.
You’ll like your Cummins Dodge. Bought mine new in 1997, one of the few vehicles I’ve bought new but needed it for hauling heavy trailers across country. 12 valve, P pump, HD manual transmission. Embossed metal trim
My 75 Blazer Cheyenne has this trim around the door panels and also on the panels in the rear cargo area. On the doors the trim has worn where arms have rested on it over the years. Does anybody know if this trim is available anywhere? Looked at LMC and a couple other places with no success. -

Windshield rubber trim piece
Does anybody have experience with replacing this round trim piece that goes in the windshield rubber? I see they are available at LMC and probably others but I’m wondering how they are to install. -

Removed the front sway bar and reinstalled with new pretty red bushings from Summit. Did some underbody cleaning while it was on the lift. -
Hood bumper question
I bought this set of hood bumpers for my 87 R1500 and just don’t see where all 6 bumpers go? 4 of them were obvious and popped in no problem. Wondering if these kits are simply generic and some trucks need all 6? -

Got mine at Cupholdersplus. I found them years ago at a Tri-5 meet and bought one for my ‘57 so got another for my squarebody. Lid lifts for storage and doubles as arm rest. A strap secures it to the seat. -

Took it to a local Cruise In this evening. Beautiful evening and great turnout. One guy came back looking at my truck several times before asking if it was original paint. I told him it was except for the hood. He said something like “Hard to beat being garaged!” -
