Plastic repair (replace?) for fold down console

Looks like a Qualitex brand seat. They may still make the seat/ part.

    Digital dashes

On our C10, I went with factory gauges and then color matched the faces to the paint. Not a great picture and it's substantially lighter.

    Digital dashes

I kind of like the Glowshift gauges and they include a bezel. Unfortunately since my C30 is a '90 and has the 1.5 Din radio that I'd like to retain; they arent an option. I do want something that has a boost and trans temp gauge as well.

    Digital dashes

This is great, haven't seen these before! Modern also had a bracket for the VA system that I plan to order as my bodyshop "forgot" to weld a stud on the firewall.

    Dually fenders without clearance lights?

I believe even the aftermarket fenders had the lights in them. I'm sure you have looked inside to verify that they weren't just glassed over but I'd try and make it original style as they look good. I've seen some guys near me that have glassed over the lights when using dually fenders for step...

head light bezel: $15 bucks vs $25 bucker....

If you buy 2 bezels, you are only out an additional $20 if they aren't "premium". I think I'd take the chance.

    Locking hood latch

Additionally, I typically add the "knob" style battery clamps. Remove the knob and unless they brought some tools to reconnect battery, they can't start it

    Locking hood latch

2, possibly 3 options I can think of. Keyed hoodlock pins. 60/70's style. or Short piece of chain attached to hood and core support secured with padlock. You'll still have to open the hood a few inches to access the lock and it will probably rattle a bit. You might also be able to drill the...

Fixed back Bench Seat. Free for pickup in Phoenix. No tracks. 80+ style. Good for resto or use to fix your folding seat. Going in dumpster soon. Wife says it's either me or the seat.

Suggestion on fixing my powder coated rims

I'm sure you are disappointed as that shouldn't have happened. Firstly, looks like sand from blasting wasn't removed??? If not sand, the faraday cage effect can cause that look as well. Basically since powder is "electrified" and creates a neg/pos pole they compete against each other in tight...

    Show your daily driver

So my younger son is getting his license soon and gets good grades, does scouts and football. Found a good deal on an older Chevy with only 33k on the odometer. Picked it up today for him as school starts next week and the C30 we're building isn't going to be ready.

    Sbc serpintine belt kit

I paid $80 for a unit out of a 88-91 Burb. Another $200-300 for belts, powder coating, alt and PS pump rebuilds. Came with good compressor but not running it right now, so AC delete pulley. Didn't need all that but I wanted it nice.

    Door Latch Hardware Question

Amazon sells both 5/16 and 1/4. The doors should be 1/4 and tailgate 5/16. They cost about $7 for 20 They shouldn't wiggle out, even with a bit of play.

FOR SALE - Gold Upper and Lower Side Mouldings for 1977 GMC Jimmy or Chevy K5 by Mar-K

Pretty sure he is taking a loss at this price as $2600 if I recall. Shame Mar-K went out of business. Only place I could find the bed wood bolts for my 77

    K5 frame crack

Personally, I think they are all cracked as I have torn apart probably 15-20 trucks and all have had something. Our 77 C10 I inspected the heck out of it before sending to blast and powder coat and found nothing. Literally 2-3 people inspected after sandblasting and I go to install the steering...

Spare tire mounted under the front bumper?

$100 will get you 4 good tie downs.

Spare tire mounted under the front bumper?

This is one I had built for my K5. Open and close with one finger. Held up to 40" tire, hi lift, 2 gas cans, etc. sold the truck with it 7-8 years ago

    Rear disc vs drum

In regards to the 14BFF, I don't think there is a disc kit on the market that can truly match the capabilities of the factory drums. That is a big drum that works very well. I also haven't found a parking brake for a disc equipped 14BFF that works very well with the factory pedal. I've had to...

    Rear disc vs drum

14BFF are notorious for leaks. My 14b leaked and there are repair sleeves available for them if you have a worn tube. Additionally, there are 1-2 kits for 14BFF that use an entirely different type of seal.

Hate it or Love it, it's sweet

I think I'm going to buy it just to park in front of some of your houses. Going to tell everyone how you picked out the pink and wheels, reminds you of your first secret BF, etc.

Search for a spare 15-inch wheel or two

Was there ever a factory 15x9 or 15x10 in any rally; car, truck, 5/6 lug?

    Spindle issues

I've scrapped 2-3 sets that nobody wanted. If you can't find any on here, I'd go to a local car show and ask everyone with a lowered C10 if they have them. On my local Craigslist here in Phoenix, there is typically 2-3 posts a month for complete suspensions. Some want $50 and some want $750.

    Inconsistent tapping from 400 sbc

There are probably only 2-3 companies worldwide making an 817(SBC hydraulic) lifter these days. In the 90's, and I might be wrong, there were only 5 companies making 817's and popularity has drastically dwindled down since then. They are all probably manufactured/ machined in Mexico and...
