    Oh okay thanks. I curectly have 12 volt key on power to the electric choke on my edlebrock. It seems to be working. Sounds like the solution to choke light issue is just pull the bulb, haha. Sounds like to much of a pain to figure out.

    Oh i plan on it. I dont like red trucks. Theres not much left of the red, just the cab. I want to paint it the dark metallic silver that the insde of the doors are. Thats one of my favorite colors.

    I repainted the grill and headlight bezels, and bolted down the emblem properly yesterday. Today i installed my new/used hood latch cable. Works great.     Oh okay, Didn't seem normal. I figured it would have a slip so it wouldn't read backwards. I often go backwards alot, and sometimes quite quick, will that hurt it, or snap the needle? Thats what i was thinking too. Guess ill have to find a new one. Unless they're fixable/cleanable. Didnt know...

    So I recently got my 86 GMC running and driving again. After driving around a bit, i relized some of my gauges don't work. Speedo is working fine, except for the fact that when i go backwards the needle goes backwards. No idea why. Oil pressure seems to be working fine, reads 40ish on cranking...

    Im not afraid of doing a rebuild myself, habe done light rebuilds before. Not too bad, i like that sorta thing. Will end up doing tha someday if i have the time..

    Its saul good man... lol May just have to do that, i really want one. My dream truck is my 86 seirra shortbed, but a squarebody burb is my number 2. An 86 GMC Seirra K2500 454, 4 speed standrad, in fall guy gold in brown would be my dream burb, but anything really.

    It was defiantly the old rochester. After getting it off, it seems that the throttle shaft wobbles around alot.

    Well I finally solved this probelm. Brand new edlebrock AVS2 later, and its runs perfectly. Super smooth. Idles happy at about 500 when warm. Running better than ever, im super happy.. Just experimenting, i turned the idle way down, and got it to run at about 100 rpm. Barely registered on my...

    Ill look into that, thanks. I went with that fuel linei have, because i can get it for like $2 a foot at TSC, but the same line at the auto parts store is like $15.99 for 2 feet rolled up. Bet the FI line is more.
