    Can you clean gauges?

Yes they can. They're actaully stronger than they look. If you grab then at the base and give a little wiggle, you can pop em off, and repaint them.

    Can you clean gauges?

Ive tried washing gauges before. Many different ways, all ended up smudging a bit. Only way i did it, that didnt smudge it, was blast it with water, then blast with air. No rubbing or wiping, its the only way that doesn't smudge. When wipe around the sides with a damp kleenex, if you want, but...

What have you done to your square lately??

I did my scheduled fluid checks on everything that runs regularly today. I checked and filled (if nessicary) oil, coolant, ATF, power steering, and brake fluid, in my 86, the suburban, the yukon, the caprice, the jeep, the tractor, and the deuce. And checked temp rating on the coolant...

292 to 427T industrial swap, in C30. Many questions on fitment.

It has a hydroboost brake/power steering, and matching power steering pump, but bracket is going to be fun to fine. Im going to leave the stock intake. Seems to be fine, and low enough. Also already had a long shaft HEI that works fine. Intake is square bore already, so ill just run my AFB...

292 to 427T industrial swap, in C30. Many questions on fitment.

The flex plate is off a 70s 305 i bought for parts. Its a even 6 bolt pattern, matches my 6 bolt converter perfectly, i test fit it. The pan looks like its going to be the only issue. Its massive. If it will fit, ill it, but if wont, ill have to change it.

292 to 427T industrial swap, in C30. Many questions on fitment.

Well its in, sorta. Trans lined up, my new mount lined up, lined up and went on the trans, and is lined up on the mounts. Everything seems to clear all the way around it. Only issue is, its seems the pan is hitting the crossmember a little tiny bit. Gonna pull it again, and see if i can...

292 to 427T industrial swap, in C30. Many questions on fitment.

Another question, there seems to be a dual bolt pattern on the brackets. The "v8" truck had the mount on the top set, and the 292 bracket has it on the bottom set. Which one fits for BBC?

292 to 427T industrial swap, in C30. Many questions on fitment.

So i had these sitting around. Bolt pattern lines up on the block. These should be good right? And this the mount bracket setup it had for 292... But i took that passenger side one out, and put in one from my "V8" parts truck C10. Seems to line up right, i think. Drivers side one seemed the...

I ran the numbers, its came back as a 81 427T. Motor was low mileage. It runs great. I have all the accessory drive brackety for a big block, and all the old brackets off this 427.

292 to 427T industrial swap, in C30. Many questions on fitment.

Just because really. Because i have a truck that needs a running engine, and a i have a running engine that has no specific home. Figured id be a good replacment for that 292. They're both heavy, low RPM, high torque, engines. And this thing probabaly jas sme srupid rea gear like a 4:56 or...

292 to 427T industrial swap, in C30. Many questions on fitment.

I look extensively threw the treads to find answers. Found a few, but none that applied to my situation and swap exactly. And have a few offball questions too. Never done a engine swap from 6 to 8, or sb to bb, especially not straight 6 to BBCV8. Only same size to same size. The truck a 81 C30...
