Where to buy seal

Dual tank fuel gauge makes no sense.
My only problem is that when my right tank gets below 1/4 full, my truck will periodically die, like the pump loses pressure or prime. It'll immediately start back up, but it's kind of dangerous & annoying as I'm usually slowing down to turn or stop when it does this. I guess I may have to pull...- mtbadbob

My truck does not have the rocker switch, and my fuel gauge reads correctly on each tank. I was merely informing JM of KY on the status of my '87 TBI set-up as I thought he suggested that the newer switches were the rocker-type, which mine isn't. My switch is the correct one that stays depressed...- mtbadbob

My '87 TBI has the tank switch that stays on the selected tank, NOT the rocker style. I had to splice a factory plug onto my harness as the PO had it rigged with a toggle & about 8 wires. Anyway, the earlier 80's harnesses had a different plug that would only fit the rocker type fuel tank...- mtbadbob

Did the same, only I made sure I patched within the bezel area, shot some black foo-foo over the white patch panel & it's perfect, can't even tell! -

87 Stock TBI 350 air cleaner lid flip upside down? Does it help? does it hurt? good or bad idea?
I had a '76 Monte w/sb 400. It ran better with the fuel/air screws out about 5 turns AND air cleaner lid flipped over(more air intake)-FACT! Now, with tbi, I believe the stock set up is better because of the CAI, just makes sense...- mtbadbob

If you can wait a week, I'm going picking at a local yard & he has some later square's, so I'll look and get the best one. Do you have a max budget? He's reasonable on all his parts, so I'm expecting $25-$30 maybe?? -

'74??? My buddy had one and what a tough, great car! I love the classic look of the rally's & side pipes. These plastic cars these days just don't have the same class as that old iron. One of the best cars I've ever owned was a '76 Monte with a sb 400.- mtbadbob

How do new cars connect to internet ?
It is satellite as those shark fins are the antenna's for the signal, and a regular mast is still used on the trucks for am/fm. Onstar can unlock the new vehicles by sending a signal from above.- mtbadbob

GMC vs. CHEVROLET
GMC-Gay Man's Chevy :laughing1:Personally, I'm a Chevy guy. I've always liked the look of the grilles better, especially the new vehicles. The GMC's grilles look like large mouths, kinda like Toyota's do. Also, try $70k+ for a new truck, my new High Country gasser was $72k! :(- mtbadbob

Mystery vacuum line
I just plugged mine at the TBI. It may have something to do with the lean code. My check engine light pops on periodically but goes off by itself & seems kind of random. Have you checked or replaced your O2 sensor?- mtbadbob

Door Glass Aligment
I'd say either the track is bent allowing that to happen, or he must not be getting the glass inside the track properly. Also check your regulator arms, and make sure all the bolts are in for the regulator & the track.- mtbadbob
