Been driving it around a good bit. One of the things I'm most happy with is that I didn't go crazy trying to cosmetically restore this thing yet. Loving the dents, scratches, and primer in spots. Could care less about actually just driving it and parking it anywhere.- Midnightmoon

Been a while since I posted on this thread. Got the heads that I salvaged off that original engine back from the machine shop today. Came out really well. Welded the deep score in the one and cut them .008 to match. (And yes before you comment, I have them sitting on the floor in our spare...- Midnightmoon

I have my C10 registered as an Antique. PA is very restrictive with those plates (at least on paper). I have all of my other vehicles including my Corvette and Z28 on regular plates just so I can drive them at will.- Midnightmoon

C4 Corvette Dana 44 3.33 gear
Yes, the ZR1's had the D44. I'm not 100% sure on the available ratios by year and model. But I think that they were available in 3.07, 3.33, 3.45 and 3.54. I really searched for a 3.33. I thought it would be the ticket with the L98/700R4 combination. Now dang it, if we keep talking about it...- Midnightmoon

No. All '84 models and all 85-96 automatic equipped cars were D36. All 85-96 manual trans cars came with the D44. The popular upgrade for the A4 cars is to swap in a D44.
