    Good info, thank you. I will run the vent line then too, I will have to rob it from my parts truck which is why I bought it to begin with! I did check out the wiring harness too, and the brown wire that was cut under the hood....yup, that baby travels a long distance through that harness...

    Thanks again for the info, I was able to verify the harness was correct and not chopped up. Tan wire on pass side I need to redo. I hooked up my meter to the tan wire end and it had a signal from the wire cut under the hood! Not sure if my tank solenoid is any good ..that's next.

    I have been working on a wiring mess, and I finally got it all figured out. Holy balls, I have never seen so many useless wires ran to whatever the heck they were doing with them, toggle switches all over and breakers, burned up wiring, melted casing on wiring....glad this baby had no engine...

    Ok, got it. I was personally thinking of running the stock fuel pump on my Olds 455 that I am putting in this truck, but not running a return or vapor line. I do however want to get the tanks/switch working like it once did.

    Mine are NOT .530 currently. They are .575/.577 O.D., so it would have to go down to .530.....I am learning, never ripped into an engine to do this stuff before, mostly have done stock or mild builds. The valve stem is .343/344 (11/32).

    They suggest I use the PTFE seals, but after reading reviews it looks like they suck. I would rather use the Viton type seals if I can find some with an O.D. that would fit nicely with the I.D. of the inner spring (.697)...and I believe my valve stems are the 11/32 ('69 Olds Rocket 455).....but...
