Vintage air versus LMC A/C Kit
Everything except the vacuum lines in the cab. Includes new A/C Controls, all the vacuum pods, the flapper under the outside cowl that reduces fresh air for Max A/C and the felt on the inside flap that directs air to the floor and defrost (photo #3). -

I agree with Bucket. The extra plies an LT tire has will increase your sidewall stability. I understand your math with the weight rating your linked to. New - Reproduction OEM Floor mats
I picked up a set and they should be here by the end of the week. @AuroraGirl I know the first Square ('87 K20) I bought in '89 had these mats. The GMT-400 look like this. -

78 c20 10 inch wide wheels
I had an '88 C20 Suburban years ago. The original owner had lowered it and was running 275/70's on a 16x8" wheel. Back then those tires only came in load range "C". The only one on Tire Rack that is load range "E" is the BFG All Terrain.- Craig 85

Vintage air versus LMC A/C Kit
My system is OEM except for the Sanden compressor and custom lines. Works great. FYI I replaced everything in the system prior to install. -

Here's my '85 K30 with 16x10's 4.5" of BS and 305/70R16 tires (photo #1). Those measure out closely to the 33x12.50x16.5's I had on my '80 C20 3+3. Intake for bbc 454
Back when I was young and dumb I ran a Performer on my 454 3+3 with peanut port heads. It ran like crap. In later years I noticed Edelbrock says the two were not compatible. Weiand makes intakes for all 3 styles of heads.- Craig 85

Desperately look for this trim piece
How's the surface finish? Is it smooth or can it be sanded smooth? They make mirror finish chrome vinyl wrap that may work to cover your existing piece. -
1977 C10 Police Truck
In California you can't drive a look alike police vehicle at all and it doesn't even have to have logos on it. I gave numerous citations for it over the years, one was a Pinto wagon. The Highway Patrol will repaint vehicles before they go to auction or at least paint the white doors black... -

81-87 Silverado / Sierra Classic Door Panels
Sorry for the delayed response, but I just moved cross country. I have not tackled the door panels yet. It will probably be in the spring or summer. I have bought the tri pieces at LMC for my prior truck, but there are several sources out there. -
LMC Heavy Duty harness (quad headlight )
Yes the harness just plugs into the to the three prong plug. Either side should work. Are you keeping stock style bulbs? I'm running H4/H1 bulbs which caused me to have to re-pin the plugs.- Craig 85

Tailgate band for 1987 Silverado V10

I'm going to guess the base are pretty much the same from 77 to 86. The first picture is my '79 K15. I added the the taller lid from an 81 & up. The filter element is 2" taller. Second picture is my '85 454 set up. The main difference is the metal heat riser tube. BBC and SBC have a...- Craig 85

Advice on: Master cylinder, booster, and calipers (leaks on 76 GMC 1 ton--pictures)
I think the hydro-boost flange at the fire wall has actually 6 bolts IIRC. In the first photo the top two are hidden. I just did mine about 6 months ago. I was leaking under the hood between the M/C and the booster. I was able to get a rebuilt one through Napa. I found out A-1 Cardone is...- Craig 85

Which 383 Crate?
I did the GM engine in my truck only because if there was an issue, I could just go to the local dealer and have them do any warranty work. I didn't want to have to potentially pull the motor at my cost, send it back to the vendor and "trust" there option of a failure.- Craig 85
