    many years ago I made that mistake. The block had to be sent off to get line bored after a used cap was found.

    Try unbolting the convertor from the flex plate then moving the convertor towards the transmission, that might give You enough room to see in there and make a better determination as to if the FP is cracked.

    Did You install the reluctor wheel from the old TC into the 205 ? If the 205 has the speedo gear then the appropriate reluctor wheel needs to be installed.

    Yeah, hard pack snow was plowed against it, wheel climbed up and over before she knew what was going on. Back side had no snow against it so could not just back on out, frame high centered on the wall, front wheels about two feet from touching solid ground. LOL
