I would tell you not to drive too far without the keys in...but your truck is a 78. Different for late 80's models with electronics attached to all ignition and throttle body stuff. -

Jumped ports A and B turned ignition on, just for fun, 3 code 12's and then code 42. Was hoping it would only give back code 12 miraculously. I then cleared code 42 via disconnecting the negative battery cable. Reconnected, jumped the ports, code 12 only, no codes. Took it for a quick run... -

So looking to grab a new ICM for under the distributor cap to begin fighting off code 42. Should I hold out and order AC Delco? Or Delphi? Or Accel? I think I want to go with AC Delco but was hoping one or two of use guys could tell me experience with Delphi, or Accel? Other brands you all have... -

Cranked it and let it warm up while I planned to dust the pollen off and move my wife's car. Gonna grab some 1/2 in. split loom on the way home from work tomorrow. I am thinking two or three, 6 in. sections would tidy those wires up for a better look. @CoggedBelt75 your engine bay is immaculate. I will try to get mine in better standings but, I'm not worthy! Lol! -

...Also, during install, I discovered that my palm sized flat head screw driver was perfect for removing the blade from the arm without removing the arm completely, or damaging the paint on the hood or cowl. -

Put new wiper blades on today. I got the correct size OE(proper needle fitting from Advance...they happen to be Rain Ex.) Slightly longer blades than what was on the truck when purchased. Now I need to get the drivers side tube from the arm re-attached to the wiper blade for windshield... -
No oil pressure
Sender(bell shaped) is the switch for an 70's -80's -ish guage. The other skinny one is for a light on the dash(likely 88 to 90-something).- JamesSam
