SEM painted the headliner trim pieces cordovan brown. It should make the burnt orange diamond pattern headliner pop which matches the bench seat. -

Painted grill, head light buckets, and interior trim pieces; most of you won’t like the white but my truck my way, no pics too much going on Saturday. Also added a coat of white to the door bottom two tone. Gonna try to get moving on this again to at least seal it up for winter so I don’t need... -
Vents smell like piss
Assuming your truck is a runner, hook up the vacuum lines and move the controls around to see how it works leave some of the vents off so it doesn’t block your views.- mxer147

The dash doesn’t need to be removed but you will have to remove the glovebox to remove the vents. It will be easier if you remove the dash pad. Save Money On New Vintage Gauges this month
I’m not asking you to lose money, I assumed 1000% markup like everything else manufactured over seas. I really liked their appearance when I looked at them a few day’s ago when you first posted. A discount is welcomed but a steeper discount will move them and put some $$ in your pocket.- mxer147

Door realignment after paint, what technique did you use?

Plastic repair (replace?) for fold down console
Buy something made of plastic with a similar bend such as a plastic tote. Cut a piece to cover the area from the backside and use a heat gun to finish form the bend if needed, then trace out the broken area and use a scissor to cut it out so it’s nearly exact, leave some space for gel epoxy to... -

Air Compressor recommendations within my requirements?
When my compressor failed, it turned out to be the run capacitor. The ohm resistance is labeled on the capacitor which I tested to determine it was out of specs. Mine would start but soon shut down. I actually still had a bad motor that I replaced with the one just mentioned and tested the start... -

I’ve been spinning my wheels and not making much progress lately, kinda energy sucking and disappointing. I’m likely going to take a break from this for awhile to reboot my energy drive. I have too many other things which need attention. -

Carpet size
1983 K20, I wasn’t paying close attention to low or high hump when I removed it. It used to have a beat up rubber mat in it so I can’t compare it to that either. I assumed the tag on the carpet covered my 83 floor shift 4 WD. -

After dying the carpet and trying to fit it, appears it’s not wide enough. Appears to be 1-2” short on each side along the angle. I haven’t cut the floor shift hole in fear I will make it mostly useless if it truly isn’t wide enough and it fits a different model. It doesn’t have much stretch... -
