Classic Parts Pics for SHOW
So yesterday, I picked this up from a seller on Craigslist. Ive always wanted a 60s impala SS so this might be my only chance to own a piece of one. I’m thinking that I will put it on the garage wall for show and I’m gonna start a collection. What classic part do you have to SHOW? -

Seems like a lot of efforts, the thought process by itself even. Not sure it’s practical or cost effective when you consider all of your labor and the price rise in materials. Yea, it’s mostly my winter beater car but also use it for hunting and fishing road trips when I know it’s in for a trashing. Changed out the battery with another from a different car, symptom remains the same. I’m thinking my crankshaft position sensor is failing? Alternator?
Made some time to replace the belt and disconnect the alternator cable. With cable disconnected, voltage stays around 9 and engine wants to die as it approaches idle rpm. Cable connected it stays near 14 volts if I stay above 1100 rpm. At idle it’s 9 and wants to die. I don’t see any...- mxer147

Bench seat adjustment

1999 Bonneville, I didn’t spray any water into the alternator so it could have some contamination. I also didn’t replace the belt since it didn’t appear that worn. I will spray the alternator down thoroughly with water and then air, and then try running it again. If the problem still exists, I...- mxer147
