I've been looking for a factory style air cleaner for my '78 truck. This one came up on EBay for $75 and I jumped on it, it still has all the vacuum parts and isn't rusted badly. I'll get it cleaned and painted this weekend. The install will require some fab for the hot air sheet metal I'll make...- Old Guy Bill

The factory AC brackets were long gone from my truck, I was replacing it with VA anyway. You will probably have to add washers or grind/fab a spacer... but that's a requirement with vehicles this old.- Old Guy Bill

Which Impact Tool
It can be tough with only one size impact. That 1/2" monster will break loose a lot of stuff... but you can't get it in a lot of places to do anything else. A 3/8" impact is a lot more handy to me, even my small 1/4" gets more use than the 1/2" one... Milwaukee is definitely a great tool but...- Old Guy Bill
