    Anyone have pics or a description of where the frame likes to crack on a 87 k5 4x4, up by the steering box. I have looked on the truck but dont see anything, perhaps I am not looking close enough or in the right spot. Been searching for pics and cant find any.

    Thanks for the reply, i think that is what i am leaning towards right now. If im gonna spend the cash I think I’d like to go 4”. I wonder if that is higher than advertised as well. Did you have any driveline issues with your 2” and should i expect any driveline issues with a 4”?

    Well I finally got around to doing some body work. Busted most of the bolts out a and replaced the uni strut with solid channel and used the existing holes to plug weld everything up. I still have 2 body bolts by the tailgate I need to replace with carriage bolts but the forward two are done...
