Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. Mine is going to Skagit Transmission this morning and is being sent to a custom shop where it’s going to be redone to the tune of 2200-2500 rpm. I don’t recall the name of the place he sends it to but I will post it here if I remember to ask him this... -

TH350 Removal
Yep, got one. I figured I’d drop the pan and check for clutch material while I’m taking it out. I have a pan with a drain plug and used a Moroso reusable gasket.- ChuckN

TH350 Removal
Getting ready to pull my trans out for the torque converter change. So, 6 bolts, trans lines, disconnect/remove crossmember, remove distributor cap for clearance, support rear of engine under pan with wood block/jack. I’d imagine I’ll need to disconnect exhaust, maybe remove headers. What else...- ChuckN

Carb Adapter
Lots of good info here. Keep in mind that Edelbrocks use no more than 5-6 psi of fuel pressure. I splurged and bought all the accoutrements from Edelbrock to avoid having to piece everything together. Doesn’t *look* that bad. Get that clamp off and then give it a good wiggle. Just depends on how much the crimp created by the clamp wants to hold on. You could try a thin punch/chisel to try to spread the pipe back out, maybe heat it up some too.
