    This is a pic of my 1975 K25. From the edge of the rear hanger to the end of the frame is 12 1/4". I think there are a few extra holes there.

    They are a nice tire, very little road noise, good handling, good traction on wet pavement and they don't throw many stones. perfect for the roads around here.

    Nothing wrong with a 16.5" rim, there are a few company's that still make tires that size. I liked the rims that came with my truck & found the tires was looking for, guess i was lucky.

    700R4 TV Cable Issue

    Yes, "cable geometry correction linkage" I believe this is why the 700r4 trans has a bad reputation... when you remove the original carburetor (with the correct geometry) and replace it with something else, you will never get your cable adjusted correctly and your 700r4 may fail.

    I used 2 4'x6' rubber horse mats cut to fit. They are 3/4" thick.
