    Looking At A 2005 Z71 4x4

Used to play Nascar 2003 in a league up until about 2014, then went to Rfactor for a few years. Was awesome with a cockpit and projector....but time consuming. Myst was pretty cool as well.

Fuel gauge to tachometer, clock to fuel gauge

ah...sorry about that, I didn't realize your initial pic had the gauges in it. They look nice. And from the looks of it, the LMC tach will require a wiring harness making it more than Summit.

    Gauge Cluster Swap

Oil pressure switch is just that....a switch that is either on or off (open or closed). Oil pressure sender (sensor) is variable and provides your gauge a signal so it will show various pressures. The "bell", single wire component, back behind your dizzy.....is a Sender (sensor).

    Engine Swap Transmission Selection

another option is get one from someone that is parting out (option 1) and you can see the mileage with it in the vehicle. I'd say under 150k miles and you believe that to be true and actually see it in the vehicle....run it with a filter/fluid change and stick funds aside for a rebuild. Knock...

I like to think outside of the box.... What about a step/side bar that acts as the steps. Push a button OR release something and it swivels/swings out from the rear of truck (like the wings on an F15.....at the same horizontal angle of the door). Then you push another button OR release...

    Ultrasonic cleaner: What size?

Old post but thought I'd share as I've got a 20 gallon unit. A guy did some testing of various stuff on yewtube and Cascade was 2nd best, but best bang for buck. 23:06 on the video for the comparison chart. He's got dollar signs in the Qty/Fill column which threw me off for a few minutes...

What have you done to your square lately??

Giggity! Could you put up a pic of the sun-visor lower bolt on the drivers side? Pretty sure mine was just slapped on and was all out of wack. Thinking about filling with a stud to just put a bolt/cap on top and be done with it.

1987 LS swap , dual tank, primary left side in tank fuel pump & Right side tank convert to a transfer tank setup to fill left tank anyone done this?

32 gallon fits fine. If you've got both tanks and have the valves, etc, put a sender/pump in both tanks and switch from one to the other. I did the 32 gallon tank swap, but if I had all the stock hardware for both, I would have done both tanks.

What have you done to your square lately??

I put it on the wiper cowl and the paint wiped off the next day. I really didn't want to sand all those slots by hand lol.

I hadn't either until my dad told me about it last year.

What have you done to your square lately??

if you have time, take some citristrip and coat the top and then put saran wrap over it so air won't get to it. Then do again for each side. Let it sit for 24 hours and see how it cleans up. The trick is the paint remover won't dry so it will work continuously.

amazon. they'll fight each other when you install so hold tight (or flip around) until they hit metal. Lose hold of one it will probably break when it snaps to another from a distance. Magnets

Steering Column needs to be rebuild

Can be done with time and patience (pdf link below). There's also a video of a young student that walks you through it with good images of key high points on youtube. Lots of kudo's to him as this helped me a lot. Jazzman Steering rebuild

    Power tool storage

Not sure if I shared this one or not. Cheap magnets for easy nut driver storage. I need to get some more magnets for the ball end allen drivers on the other side. Also, those magnets put under the corner of your radiator support (above the headlights) helps hold tools and screws in place. I...
