    That's way tighter than we built them. I would have said our fixture was about a quarter inch. I watched my guys put on about 1.8 million fenders (900,000 trucks x 2 per truck) with that setup. K

    One other thought about ELPO: the body sheet metal is electrically charged, which opens the pores to the metal. The body is dipped and the charge cut off so the paint is trapped. The excess is then immediately rinsed off with water and the body sent into the ovens for drying. K

    Cut 2 coils in front for 4" drop; relocated spring hangers in rear and removed a leaf for about 6" in rear. Total cost was about $1.38 for grade 8 bolts and nuts plus front end alignment. Factory tire/wheel setup is LR60-15 Goodyears on the 15x7 aluminum wheel. K

    Not front; the wheel house (the black part) was not assembled when the fender goes through paint. There is a front end sub assembly line after paint where the wheel inner, side trim and wheel opening trim are added to the painted fender and then conveyed to the main assembly line in sequence...

    Yes - I have done that when replacing master cylinders at the racetrack. I figure the "bubble" is right there at the master/line joint, and it shouldn't take much fluid volume to push that bubble up into the reservoir. K

    I had this experience with reproduction window stickers. I asked the GM Heritage Center if they knew somebody that had blanks. The archivist said "here - call this guy". I looked at the slip of paper he handed me and it was my own phone number. (lol)

    Yes - you need to install the springs that go on each side. When I did mine the catalog showed they were not available but I was able to use some for a GMT400 and they worked fine. K
