    Correct - it's the internal program code. It went GMT400, then GMT800, then GMT900, then K2 (maybe) and then I don't remember - seems like there was a "T1" in there somewhere. What might not be obvious is you can then build additional information into the program code, like GMT820 = short...

    Post a photo if it is convenient. I used to be the foreman on the line where they were stamped. I think you'll find the VIN is on top and there are supplier marks, date codes and part number on the side. K

    Nope. The change was made years before the lawsuit(s). Be reminded it takes 3-4 years for a minor redo; 8-10 years for a major architectural redesign. K
