    I agree with the others, kick panels, inner rockers, outers, floor last. 1 thing I'd suggest though, is to hang a door and a fender, and pull the cab to get the gaps where you want them before screwing anything together.

    The factory switch being pressurized to 60 psi is the problem, it can't handle it. Last I knew there was no alternative to handle the pressure, hence using a surge tank being the simplest method of dealing with it.

    What new tools have you got lately?

    I finally got myself a AC Tig machine, Primeweld 225x. I've always had free reign of one at work, but even that means I have to bring my crap, wait until after hours, etc etc. Will have to build myself a decent cart to get the Mig on also.

    Picture drop, easy to see why this is desirable if you're at all familiar with engines. BTW, the normal 8.8 is just a big 8.1, with a ton of the same hurdles to tackle, the R block is none of that.

    Ground to gas tank?

    Is that a thing? My 91 cluster in my 79, fuel gauge reads past full, 3 o'clock, at all times. Cleaned ground, ran it straight to the battery, no changes either way. This is a new 87 sender in a new 87 tank. Idk where else to look without dropping the tank back down.
