Container based shop: 2 post lift placement advice?
You are right, looks like maybe the swing arm isn't locked. We have two of these type lifts at work, a Mohawk and a Rotary. They both lock as soon as you raise the lift up. Apologize to the OP for derailing the thread, but I am the guy at work that makes sure the new guys know how to use all... -

Important to use that 2 post lift correctly. Don't let unsupervised friends use it. Your Suburban has a frame, you should be good! -
What have you done to your square lately??
So useless info from this (me) old timer. The fender washers on the first squares, 1973, were "U" shaped with no tab. Following year, "1974" the "U" shaped washers had the tab. Much easier to deal with, as you could tape 2 or 3 together for a test fit. Slide them out and add or subtract as needed. -

Clutch type locking diff. Usually require some friction modifier in the oil. When they wear, they just don't lock any more. Good thing, is they won't governbomb! -

When one wheel is spinning, the differential side gears and pinion gears are spinning at twice the speed. As stated by @ali_c20 and @ChuckN the spider gear bushings /bearings seems worn. Power steering Pump Bracket
Most likely the AC bracket was bolted under the PS bracket on the bolt at the head. Without AC, you should be able to get it lined up by putting a spacer under the bolt. Since you said it was fine before, there may have been a spacer that fell off when you unbolted the pump. Probably need a 1/2...- Turbo4whl

Help on where this cable fits into?
Early Squares also had a fiber optic cord to light the wiper/washer switch. The other end of those fiber optic cables plugged into the back of the 194 bulb dash light sockets. Special bulb socket, one on each side of the dash.- Turbo4whl

Dash speaker mounting
I guess I'm not most guys. I cut the doors. Not too long after that aftermarket kick panel speaker mounts were available. I would have used them. -

You would have done much better if you moved the trailer coupler up higher and just put a ball on the bumper. Or, turn the hitch adapter around, you added a big lever. -

One of my leaders had a tire on the trailer blowout just as he entered a tunnel on the PA green stamp. By the time he got out of the tunnel the shredded trailer tire ripped the fender loose. Out of the tunnel, changed the flat and removed the bent up fender. What is it with trailer tires anyway??- Turbo4whl

I didn't see it, maybe not considered a tool, a first aid kit. I also carry a few tools like everyone else. Heavy rope is also handy. The old scout trailer broke a main spring leaf. My dash lights and gauges don’t work.
Always need to start by checking fuses. They're many different printed circuits for these trucks. If you change that, it is important make sure they are the same.- Turbo4whl

Where's the resistor in the coil pink wire from ignition switch?
No, GM fuel gauges do not have a voltage regulator like some older brands. They have two coils inside on each side of the meter. Current through the coil creates a magnetic field that pulls the needle to that side. One coil is completed through the tank resister. So even if the battery voltage...- Turbo4whl

Anything ignition spark related in the gauge cluster?
Okay, next check fuses, the ckoke power feed is key switched on. Could have burnt the ignition feed depending on what wires you took power from.- Turbo4whl
