caster mod in a CPP lower control arm

Not much of a journalist, so it might be brutal to write an instructional article? Short version......Square body 2 wheel drives are really fairly simple. More shims, more camber, More shims on the front attaching bolt is more caster, more on the rear attaching bolt is less caster. Usually you...

    Which mirrors are these? Factory?

There were a couple of versions of these mirrors in the 70s square bodies. Both below eye level and both optional. One "3" legged style with lower supports above the body line and a "4" legged style with longer "legs" below the body line and a heavier upper support? This is all from an old...

caster mod in a CPP lower control arm

Ya gotta move the lower arms forward to get more positive Caster. All of the adjustment on the original C 10s, C20s, and C30s was shims on the upper control arms.....more shims on the front equals more Camber, more Caster, more on the rear equals less Caster, more camber and so on. After you...

caster mod in a CPP lower control arm

Never in my years of Alignment did I have a problem with shims "popping" out. Of course I tightened the sh!t out of the upper control arm attaching nuts. I had a special 3/14 box end(1/2 ton) and a 7/8 box end(3/4 ton), both bent in a couple of places to facilitate the job? I used to be...

I'm talking about end caps NOT molding. The spear end on the front fender and the square end cap at the rear of the molding on the bed, NOT the complete molding. Have seen some kits for the molding that are very close and sold by the foot?

^^^^^^^^Nope 2 front spears and 2 rear caps and mine are metal. Have seen the front spear made by cutting the vinyl to come to a point, but ya gotta be good to do that.
