    Finally got a running 65 C10

A lot of people sleep on them because they got a bad rep but I have a S10 NV3500 in mine an its been great for 8 yrs now. The S10 version is closer ratio an uses the 350/4l60 size yoke. One of the better things I've done to it...

    Old77’s GMT400 SWB 4x4 5-speed project/DD

I realize its somewhat different but every car we build at work the main body is painted there. Bumpers, fenders and running boards are painted somewhere else by another tier 1 company. You'd never know they weren't done at the same time. Well I dont anyhow, I don't have that paint/bodywork...

Can anyone tell me about this step bumper? (Aftermarket?)

I thought for sure there is a thread on this somewhere that @Keith Seymore posted in saying no step bumper was factory installed. I wanna say it was all squares but maybe at a certain year they started. Or maybe I heard it somewhere else, possibly about 67-72 instead.

    Tremec TR-4050 swap

I looked into this when the 4500 on my dually was grinding bad. The "gm" version 1st gear is lower than the 4500 which is already useless unless I'm towing. The "ford" version has a higher first, which is still lower than a 4500 but not as bad as the "gm" version. I called to ask about a...

What have you done to your square lately??

While still not finished an traffic generally still sucks regardless, it is much better than it has been in the last couple of years, especially the cherokee county section.

    K30 w/hydroboost clutch pedal solution

So use a flywheel that matches the engine, then everything else for an 2002 model. No need to use a gto slave, just use the truck one.

What trans are you using an what engine is it going behind?

    K30 w/hydroboost clutch pedal solution

The internal slave uses a different pressure plate. The fingers are around 1/2" shorter than a clutch fork style one.

What have you done to your square lately??

Finished up the fuel filler today. Guess I'll see sometime next week how it works. The vent runs to up above the taillight. Still got to button up gauges/bezel, waiting on new bed bolts, wire up the tail lights and put on bumper an tailgate.

Ya if you need that much output you cant beat that one imo.

Your covers must be petty tall then. Keep an eye on your tensioner travel, that might require a belt the next size up. If you have a good hardware store look for a shaft collar maybe, or some round stock if you have a good drill press.

One of the diesel emblem still available? Most of the time Id rather trash stuff than deal with trying to sell it too.

    Serpentine Conversion

I was told this back when I did my swap. I have since found out that it isnt correct an all the 4.3 stuff will work. Just can't go back an edit that anymore. I get alot of stuff from rock auto, so thats my usual go to. They carry GPD an 4 seasons for hvac stuff but sounds like you got that...

    Serpentine Conversion

You shouldn't need that. A Sanden model 4440 is a direct bolt on replacement for the HT6, no adapter brackets needed, besides the spacers it comes with. Also UAC offers their sanden copy CO4440C, GPDs is 6511340 they usually run about $100 less than the real sanden.

What have you done to your square lately??

I have a rollover/check valve thing from tanks inc for it. Plan to get it up high an attach it to the stake pocket with a cushion clamp if I can get in there to secure it that is lol.

    Gas Filler Relocation

Thanks, my plan is to route it up the side of the stake pocket as high as I can get it. I have a check valve for it too.

No, the HT6 is the correct one. They are notorious for leaking where the case halves meet. I went with a sanden to avoid that an I wanted a new one since my entire a/c was new too. That alternator is the cs130d that was standard 105A on the vortecs as well. The cs144 was the "high output"...

What have you done to your square lately??

I called LS Fab about this filler last Wednesday. Got an answering machine said they return calls in 1 business day. Still haven't heard from them  Jokes on them, I got it to close/fit better anyways. Painted it up an installed it for the last time hopefully. Got the bed...

    Gas Filler Relocation

Put a LS Fab tail light filler on this one. After looking at it I'm not optimistic that it will fill well at all. In going to have to 90 it right at the bed floor which is basically right where the nozzle will be. Then its going to be basically flat an maybe I can 45 it into the tank. I got to...

Long bracket is a lift point, its not necessarily needed. I don't think it's used as extra support for anything. The other looks like one that braces the power steering to the block. I don't think i used it either. I also had to clearance the bracket for my valve cover. I used a sanden...

You won't be disappointed, well as long as you didn't buy the xbrand ones. Those still aren't terrible but the others alot better.

    Ambulance Vans!

Ya it supports 98+ but not 96/97 at least last time I checked. I had a rash of 98s with passlok failures last year. Had to have 3 of them tuned out. That's one good thing about 96/7s you dont got to worry about that passlok mess lol.
