    Also worked on the drivers door waiting for a new paint can so I can match the seat belt covers. The door panel is not the same color even though its supposed to be "saddle". Any way did a modification on the arm rest attachment so they can't be pulled off which usually happens over time. 1/4...

    Been busy today got the new rear window that everyone was curious about. And the seal to install it. Prepped the window for install which will happen on saturday.

    Good job decoding your axle, I'm impressed you got farther than I did on mine! Like I said Denny's is a good site because they the exploded parts diagram. You can use it for a reference. All the parts are available at many vendors.

    I have both and prefer the overhead hoist. If you have a spot I'd make it permanent one and done you'll be surprised how many times you'll use it!

    I just asked for guidance on the rear window seal thier part # WBL1135 is for a solid rear window or a slide with 1/4 inch flange. Hope this helps I should know by next week have a OER 3 window slider DY90007T on its way along with that part number from precision.

    surface rust specs under paint, what to do before primer

    Vinegar Will neutralize rust also, cleanup easier and is cheaper than harsh chemicals. Use a good cleaner acetone or something similar and a final wipe. Then spray with a good epoxy primer.

    Get in there and clean up around the pumpkins you can Identify exactly what you have so you can get the right parts you need.

    Welcome From NorCal, Sweet truck, and good find on that seat, should be another one hopefully in the glove box! Take a picture of those valuable info when rebuilding axles etc.

    Welcome, From Norcal! My truck is a 73 and the frame date stamp is dated November 17 1972. So even thought outside looks different. A lot of the info is similar to your model year.

    Got some help from my son today. Visiting from Tennessee. Mirrors installed, Window regulator, Wing vent and Window installed on the passenger side, and mirror on the drivers side awaiting parts to finish. I thought I had bought window seal, not!!
