    Door issues with rust

    Gluing patch panels is standard for new cars and it works, no warping from welding heat. You still have to fix the lower inner door before doing the door skin. IDK what gauge the AMD patch panels are, but AMD has premium doors which should have the same thickness as the original doors...

    Unfortunately you have to check all components again. Check ground. Check if the gauge is working as it should. Check resistance of sending unit. Maybe the float of your sending unit is sticking/not moving free. There's no guarantee that new parts work as they should these days.

    You have too loosen the screw that holds the fast idle cam. Then you can unhook the linkage.

    Mechanical fuel pump to carb fitting is usual 5/8 18 inverted flare.

    I did. The frame is pushed on to the window with the glass setting rubber. Degrease glass and frame before putting it together. Take your time and be patient. Here's a video from Precision showing how it's done: (vent window part starts 4:34)

    Some ball joints are hard to move, some easier. I never had an issue with on or the other. Spicer is high quality brand, run them.

    You could build an custom axle. Get new axle tubes and move the differential to the driver side. Lot of work and tools required, machine shop too but possible.

    I know you have bought the pucks and bolts, but lift blocks could be an option. You only have to check brake hose lenght and drive shafts. With only 2" lift driveshafts should be good as they are. No work on steering column, shroud, bumper,.... Is the 4" lift you already have with lift springs?
