    Rear Brakes Locking Up

This is for a van, but i cant find your master in the lists in the service manual Should be obvious looking in the master which is the front and rear, front uses more space. if your fluid isnt clear you can stick your finger in the nasty to feel the iron casting for which one is bigger

    bulkhead fitting sludge

it seals them from the outside thats why I said its better than nothing Ive done the same thing "suboptimal" I wouldnt open it back up if someone already did it, but if you havent getting the proper stuff would be long term wise. The connections that really are more at risk of issue are...

    bulkhead fitting sludge

Electrical connector grease. Dielectric grease is insulating and can assist in certain terminal corrosion(I forget the specific kind) It’s better than nothing in my opinion In a connector body with a seal, the place of dielectric grease is the seal itself. Or on a spark plug wire boot but not...

What have you done to your square lately??

depending on the cable in use, if there is a resistor shorting between two pins (forget which ones, and a lot of them internally do this on the plug. i believe its the one that does field service mode, memory not the best on this) I was referring to the tach readout would be laggy behind a...

What have you done to your square lately??

note: the data in the ALDL stream is updated 1 time per second ,and the engine operates differently when the ALDL is hooked up, so a tachometer is a good idea to have in addition

What have you done to your square lately??

What have you done to your square lately??

an inductive tachometer would help with knowing the RPM esp underhood but knowing the TPS counts is very ... helpful here. There is a LOT of revised PROM for 1987-1989 vehicles , the 1988 gmt400 isnt much different from 1987 square so almost all of the fixes span multiple years. Hopefully he...

What have you done to your square lately??

for reference a tech 2 coverage for a truck starts in 1992 so youd need to use that software and not use a tech 2 A tech 1 or tech 1a or the long defunct aftermarket copies of those tools (made by various companies) also would work

What have you done to your square lately??

need to know more dude... whats your vin number, i can check if your PROM chip is the correct. knowing your PROM id ahead of time would be helpful, you can find out by opening your PCM and sending a picture of the chip inserted on the board. Knowing what trans and emissions you have (federal...

Lawn/ Garden tractors/ Riding Mowers, Cool Mods and tinkering

I just used my gx255 to pull a stump I would like a zero turn for my field of machinery , but it wouldnt be the safest for our front hill (about half of the mowing) Since my field of machinery can instead be mowed by darting to all the machines, getting around the perimeter of everything without...

73-87 Rear Disc Brake Conversion Problem

the caliper also needs to be positioned so that the outboard pad only has a little ways to be "pulled" into the rotor, and that the inboard pad has to be basically dragging as close as it can. if its not like that, it will need to extend the piston further to start braking with any actual effect...
