Fuel tank replacement on 1987 LS swapped square body

or put a 'burb tank under the bed back by the bumper. An option. 1 tank, fuel pump, sender, and lines. Hardest part is figuring out where to put the filler.

hmm....be nice to put some digital displays in there for other sensors to display. I've got a small analog tach in there now. Sorry, thinking outside of the box.

What have you done to your square lately??

permethrin does magic. Oil based (stinks until it dries) or water based. 3 oz/gallon of water and they're dead in less than a minute. Oil based last longer on surfaces due to rain n such.

What have you done to your square lately??

wow I actually got an opinion outta the wife on the bumper. She hates this truck with a passion cuz I have so much in it. Her name for it is "that F'n truck". She said it would look better with the chrome bumpers. As soon as I told her how much chrome bumpers would be......she just walked...

What have you done to your square lately??

Replaced bumper. Stripped paint with citristrip, then 10 coats of VHT epoxy. Cleaned stainless bolts and put new antiseize on them during install. We'll see how well the VHT lasts with me standing on the bumper to work on it. If it doesn't, I'll go heavy duty implement paint.

What have you done to your square lately??

heater core went out today. Lifetime warranty, but we'll see what it is and go from there. Local shop is cheap. I really need to stock up on a radiator or 3 while he's still in business. If what I have is copper, I'll take it to him for $45 or so to keep him in business over the warranty...

Custom wood door trim w/pull strap

And RIP B. Benfield (local), I asked him about this 4 years ago. I never got around to it and missed out on the pleasure. Since his passing, it has been higher on my list to make it happen.

Custom wood door trim w/pull strap

The smaller sample that has different features still bugs me......the left side almost looks chrome to an extent. He did it for free, if I change my mind and need another, I'll insist on $100 for another set.

Custom wood door trim w/pull strap

Still wet in the pic. A buddy of mine at work did these for free for me as he is only playing with his new laser. Long story short, stained water based dark grey, then 1 coat of water based clear. Spray painted with interior color (oil based) and immediately wiped it off a few times. Plan is...

    LMC Vent Window Rebuild

unless ur full of money, suck it up and do it yourself. It's a pain, but I'd rather do that than changing out head gaskets on a 350, doing drum brakes on all 4 wheels just to mention a few. Yeh you'll curse a few times, but dang at the money you'll save.

What have you done to your square lately??

No chrome at all. I think that brown/maroon stuff was a primer of some sort. Instead of scraping, I think I'll set up the pressure washer to make it faster.

What have you done to your square lately??

Didn't expect this. Old painted bumper removing paint with citristrip with saran wrap over it. I've only ever tried 24 hrs then repeat. Put it on and wrapped sunday. Had the grandkids for a few days so didn't touch it until today. Absolute butter removal. I got time at that rate. AC...
