I'm in if they are 4wd. Since seeing the independent suspension setup on the old chevy vans (rare), I've wanted one. Be a great hunting vehicle. Not sure about the diesel though.....I don't know squat except there's no fire with it....and it aint cheap lol.

    Orange Peel Trouble

Nothing meant, but my dad has been painting since the early '80's when I was 10'ish. Anyway, I asked him about orange peel. He rattled off a bunch of science/experience. Can I remember it no. Did I ever see a paint job by him that had orange peel.....no. Guessing he looked at it as...

    I need direction.

and a suggestion...change the title to "LS swap...I need direction". The way it is, it's as open as red worms for bluegill or 33 inch tires on a vega just by reading the title lol. Just a thought lol. An admin can change it for you to get more views.

    I need direction.

Engine mounts, A/C, transmission mount and drivetrain, wiring harness, fuel system, exhaust, cooling (electric or not), speed source (VSS signal) for the computer AND speedometer, removing vats from your PCM. I'm sure I missed a few, but that is a good starting list of things you need to...

I stand corrected. It's $179. The $75 item was the little wooden chest sitting on top of the display table. My apologies. https://www.harborfreight.com/60-in-3-drawer-hardwood-workbench-58832.html

What have you done to your square lately??

I may have a bead welded around the edge or a piece of metal tacked on the edge. Hell a few "dress" bolts shot up from the bottom with the nuts on top may suffice.

What have you done to your square lately??

Installed step bumper. Leaving drivers side a tad loose to cold bend it up. Trying to figure out if chrome carriage bolts and plate lights or black. Make it not so blacked out.

What have you done to your square lately??

Got the rear bumper off. Had the truck backed up to a retaining wall for ease of muscle bar bolt breaking. I put bolts in the other 2 holes in case it decided to drop. Had I looked closer....it wasnt going anywhere with all bolts out lol. I had to smack it a few times to get it to let loose...

where the tail gate hinges, mine were rusted....that's half the reason I put new bedsides in. Other half was because of the rust that builds behind the chrome over the wheel....the stuff u don't see until it's too late. No more chrome on my sh|t. It's perty....but damn it all lol.

    Speaker pods/General stereo questions

you don't have to depend on solder core. i use solder paste. If anything you'll use too much which can be cleaned up with alcohol. Good thing about the paste is you can see the heat start to flow with the melting of it....then the "flow" I mentioned above. In my eye's, better to have too...

    Those wind/rain deflector thingys...

few years ago when I went to install them on replacement doors, luckily I remembered they touched. So when I installed new ones on the replacement doors I opened the wings and changed the location of the deflectors as needed.

    Speaker pods/General stereo questions

While hot, use flux on the tip of your soldering iron then quickly wipe off with a rag. Make sure it's clean. Just a couple tips to soldering....it's super easy once you "see" the solder flow. Good example video below with and with out flux. With Flux, you'll "see" the wire "take" the...

R4 to Sanden whith stock ac lines(for serpantine)

I'd like to see hoses that we can grab from a junkyard that will work for this swap. My compressor has separate connections and custom hoses are ~$250+. It's Four Seasons 58580. I can start a new post if needed.
