4l80e shifting issues
I've got a 4l60e that I've been expecting to go (no issues as bad as yours). Anyway, I read up on Lubgard and reviews. I felt they were positive enough to add to my transmission. Keep in mind I was the type that would drop the pan change the filter and fluid that came out....and that's it...- Camar068

Unusual way to bleed brakes. Just might help someone.
I did this while after cracking the bleeder open for gravity bleed, tapping with an rubber mallet. You could see the air bubbles come out of the clear hose. Tap/bang a bit to your desire until no bubbles coming out. Doesn't take much time to clear them on an 86 k10. [edit] I let it bleed for...- Camar068

yes it is. The lights will draw power directly from the battery and not the trucks harness. You current power to your lights would then be a signal to the relays. Less power through your trucks aging wiring. Higher voltage directly from battery compared to old harness. My truck was dropping... -

6L80e Swap
depending on generation of LS ur getting, you may need to get a seperate controller for the 6l80.....about $1,000. And not knowing for sure, the 4l60/4l80 will last longer and cheaper to rebuild compared to 6lxx series. Correct me if I'm wrong for those that know. Those are the reason's I...- Camar068

lol.....just the kiwi sped mine up not remembering the "process" with manual windows. I did it his way the first time years ago and it worked, my "wrong way" and it worked. -

3 Wire Temp Sender
keep googling. Three wire is what you need. You've got the sender. One wire goes to the PCM/ECM and the other goes to ur gauge. It will work. If it's off, it's probably ur gauge or wiring on the truck.- Camar068

like I said, there was a video on boob tube that I saw and he used kiwi and dry lube. I thought I'd posted it, but I can't find it here. [edit] found it. Maybe the kiwi helps the dry lube stick? dunno lol. -

@78C10BigTen @Johnny Atomic I used kiwi camp dry....few sprays and it was good. but I knew there was something else to it but I couldnt find the video for the whole process. It had to do with PB blaster dry lube also. The kiwi did the trick, but I know I didn't do it right. Guessing it will... -
