Sure you could do that - could just remove the transfer case portion - but no reason you couldn’t do that- Tank6x2

Power steering pump bracket for heads without accessory holes.
Usually a bracket that attaches to the manifold I thought, any wrecker really, but aftermarket heads may have to fabricate one, I’d watch that thread,.- Tank6x2

I’d say You have a short to ground either through your headlight switch, depending on your year dash - easiest enough - I think 85-87 in the column pain in the arse but unlikely as it would be more Than one tail light, check around the trailer plug in for the constant source voltage maybe a...- Tank6x2
