    70s cab on 80s frame

I swapped a 78' Burby body onto an '85 frame, bolted right up for the most part.

HELP! Does anyone know what this piece is called?

That's the idea anyway, but after 30 years they seem to start to collect stuff into the bedside and start rotting them from the inside out. Burby's are notorious for this. The wheel well seam in the middle corrodes, holes start to open up, and then the sht slinging off the tarrs starts to pile...

I use one of these on my oil drain bucket to catch the drain plug and filter and anything else my slippery hands would drop. Saved my ass many times. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DNTQQCC4/

What new tools have you got lately?

@Ricko1966 , So this weekend I did the bubble balancer with your Y method. Turned out GREAT. She is smooth as silk I had her up to 85. Thanks for taking the time to teach me. On another note, that screw drive bead breaker I got. I found it does not want to work on rims that don't have a good...

    Those wind/rain deflector thingys...

I know it's a trick they use on later model plastic inner fenders. I guess that would be a different type of plastic, I did not think of that.

    Those wind/rain deflector thingys...

I'm wondering if you can use a heat gun to warm the plastic up enough to massage it and make the room for the "wing swing".

    01 bravada lurch when starts

Because I don't do a full flush all at once so do it in partials. It's a rebuilt unit with almost 200K on it. And because I love her.

I actually never call it, that it was always a slant 6 to me. Just trying to cheer up my boi @HotRodPC . They were tough little motors for me. I have had several. I could not kill any of them.

    01 bravada lurch when starts

My 07 Tahoe does the same thing once in a while. Every few weeks up to every few months it would do it. Start it up and BANG, like one of the clutches is engaged or the TC clutch. Whole truck jumps. I have not found any answers online or chatting with trans techs. It's been doing it for years. I...
