Couple degrees timing shouldn't effect a misfire to that extent. Perform a general inspection of ignition, check for vacuum leaks. Compression should be close to other cylinders. Tie Rod Ends Interfere with Wheel Weights
Shouldn't modify the tie rod. Take wheels to a tire shop. Newer balance machines can be programmed to attach weights outside, inside or tape weights in center.- fast 99

What's the first move?
Suspension has rubber parts, seals everywhere, fan belts, brake hoses, ect. Not trying to discourage a purchase, just be sure to check it out thoroughly. Unless rebuilt at some point every front suspension part will be worn out with 175k miles.- fast 99

How many miles, was it stored outside? It's very likely every rubber part is dry rotted. That wouldn't scare me off provided the price was reasonable. Just be aware of what is ahead.- fast 99

Painting new panels help needed
Yes, scuff, tack rag, ect. Solid or metallic color? If metallic everything you do effects the final color. Mixing ratio, humidity, temperature, air pressure, distance from panel, all of it. Very hard to paint panels off the vehicle and have them match especially of not done at the same time...- fast 99

Another consideration, is there a machine shop that can do the rebuild? Our city had 3 of the largest engine rebuilders in the nation, all have closed. Took a chance on a small shop I have never used during covid [they were the only one with parts]. Got lucky, engine runs fine. GM no longer... -

Yeah, ordered one from them. They canceled it, not in stock. Have found a couple but the sellers want $100-130. This isn't a one of Corvette! Guess I will try a heat gun on the wheelhouse from the back and see if that works. -

Is there a source for reproduction SB decals? Need the jack decal on the left side wheelhouse. Tried to order on line from a couple vendors and of course not available from GM. Part number 15594820. -

Don't need to reinvent the wheel with electric fans. A phenolic spacer might help a little if fuel is boiling. Doubt fuel line insulation will fix it either. I have basically the same truck and engine. Although it might crank for a couple more seconds will starts just fine. Truck runs very very rough
can try dribbling fuel or spray carb cleaner in each front venturi when running. If one side is restricted engine will smooth out. Of course be careful. Always have a fire extinguisher near when messing with fuel.- fast 99

One side of the idle circuit restricted? remove both mix screws, squirt a little carb cleaner in each side then follow with compressed air if available, re-install screws. Body and frame welding needed
Have lengthened shortened and repaired broken frames. Weld in a doubler that does not have vertical welds such as a diamond shape. Will last using proper methods. One of our trucks we added 24" behind the cab to make into a rollback. Was used hard for over 200k.- fast 99

454 freeze plug replacement.
A soft plug tool install kit might help. Replacement plug needs to be straight or it will leak. I have used various punches, sockets and extensions to do whatever is necessary to get it in. If originally R12 hoses are not compatible with 134A. You will need barrier hose, should be replaced anyway just because of age. Those were decent systems and worked well provided any needed parts are located.- fast 99

Compressor not turning on.
Should have a low pressure switch on drier. Can jump that switch with ac on to check function. If clutch engages either switch is bad or low on refrigerant. If it doesn't engage one side of the switch should have power on it when AC is on. If it doesn't need to trace power loss. -
