Almost 0, when I run a tank dry it will take 20 gallons to fill a 20 gallon tank. Really depends on close pickup is to the tank bottom.- fast 99

Nobody warned me about the MPGs on these square bodies!
Both of my K20's with a stock tire diameter are highly tuned, checked with infrared and in good condition. One with 411 gears gets around 10 other one with 373 11-12 thats it. Suppose a gear vendor overdrive would help [a little] but they aren't driven much more than 2k a year. Economics don't...- fast 99

Plug Gap - Suggested or Altered with HEI?
There's generally 30-50 KV in those coils. Most point systems were in the 20kv range. You will be fine with any gap in the .035-.045 range.- fast 99

Suggestions on replacement brake calipers, pads, and rotors
I have installed literally hundreds of calipers. We do occasionally run into a defective one but it is rare. If quality is a concern rebuild them yourself. It isn't hard. Am sure there are you tube videos out there that will show how it's done. As far as pads depends on the expected use. Ceramic... -
Door Compatibility
I believe the only major difference is the channel for window. Later models use a thinner window. They may still be interchangeable using the correct channel run weatherstrip. Someone should be along and confirm that.- fast 99

Driving full time 4wd with front drive shaft removed
Also heard only a short term solution. Actually, have seen more front differentials with water in the oil than I have rear. This from lack of use. Keep that in mind.- fast 99

Power steering gear box

Boy I could have saved a lot of money on sealers. Paint supplier told me on a molecular level color would not cross link to color and not to expect any durability doing it. Guess I learned something. Did paint 3 or 4 demo cars outside in the dark [color over color] but only expected that job... -
Dimmer switch rod and other issues
It's hard to explain but you should be able to reach over top of column a little below the mounting bracket and feel where it enters the switch. Someone should be along with and exploded diagram.- fast 99

If the upper column wobbles there are bolts in the bottom that are loose. Unfortunately requires almost complete disassembly to gain access. There is also a pot metal gear that commonly breaks. Is on the opposite side of the picture.- fast 99

Actually..... without knowing the brand and product used, asking generic painting questions on a forum is a recipe for disaster. What I will say, products that allow rust underneath are not a sealers. Can not apply color directly over color, can not paint over rust, surfacer absorbs 80% of it's... -

Anyone use HOK base coat? How do you like it?
