    all time 4 wheel drive

There's a whole lot that ain't right with that rig BUT when dealing with 40+ year-old trucks there is plenty that can be "modified" or "repurposed" among these Squares. I see your handle of 72 Camaro and am disappointed that we did not get a pic of that. Welcome to the site and I'm just taking a...

What have you done to your square lately??

I say the same about my skeleton...those cracks and pops weren't there a few weeks ago! Half Sore

    '89 K5 Blazer

The K5 is already injected so a 350 replacement is common sense answer. Welcome from NC also. HS

What have you done to your square lately??

I finally got my K25 home. My SIL drove it while I tailed him; it sounds wicked with the .525 cam & long tube headers. He can't wait to rip it through the field! Here it is with the younger grandson. Healthy Square

    Y'all ever seen this color?

My 76 High Sierra is code 73 Crimson Red and it looks like that...or did 30 years ago. My 79 Cardinal Red and it is darker than the truck in the pic. HS

    Rust Repair on Squarebody Chevy

If it were easy then EVERYONE would do it. There have been countless vehicles scrapped due to the inability to make such repairs. Sir, I commend thee! HS

What have you done to your square lately??

I have a few more engines that have been in the wait so may as well put one together for future use. I have an old stove bolt 6 on the floor that we bust off ever now & then. It's sitting on wood blocks & strapped to a bench leg. HS

What have you done to your square lately??

Been kinda hunt-peck on my Squares. I ordered a set of tall valve covers for the roller rockers on the 454 K25. I’m almost ready to fire this 350 that we’ve refreshed also. I want to make a run stand to get the new cam broken in, that’s another entire project as well. I want the engine ready...

    Hello from Missouri

Welcome from NC. Did you install an electric pump & sender on a carburetor truck? That may be the reason for your flooding issue; too much fuel pressure. HS

Anyone ever had the ball joint rip out on a 10 bolt front?

I've seen it happen to the "Fall Guy" truck but have never had it happen to me. A friend had one break on a Ford Dana 60 out on the trail. We were able to strap it together and tow it off the trail in reverse fortunately. I've seen some vintage trucks that have that load truss on the axle...

    NP 203 Transfer case Chain HV009 GM#13433

I've had several 203's thru the years & do appreciate the lower range over the 205. We just swapped the trans/case in my 76 with a used unit from a 75. It is difficult to shift & must have front hubs locked to drive. It makes noise in park/neutral like trying to run a PTO. Being the 76 case is...

What have you done to your square lately??

Making the C30 road ready & user friendly. Put on some flaps & got the taillights & bed markers going. Got the interior floor lamp operating & installed a dome light that I've been wanting to use for 20 years...

What have you done to your square lately??

I remember when I could keep an operating table that clean and organized. I'm just glad to keep up with the 20 or so kids in the class now and keep them from killing one another with horseplay and tools... HS

How to turn a half ton into a 3/4 ton?

I've been a few rounds with NCDMV & can tell you from experience that if you mess with the VIN, regardless of the situation; you're subjected to "reconstruction" and will need to undergo full inspection with DMV- not a local safety/emissions inspector.

What have you done to your square lately??

Glad to see that I'm not the only person that ain't afraid to shred them down. I told my boys about the recent body swap; "Cab swaps are like p#$$y; I'm not scared of them but I don't get a chance to do them on the daily". You older fellas will get it... HS

What have you done to your square lately??

The passenger frame horn is tweaked on the front and we’re using some ingenuity to get the bumper and brushguard on it. I’ll have to address the frame a bit later when the Dana 60F is introduced to her. The bumper still has a little “snarl” about it but it’s on and doing its job.

    Cab Mount help

Me and my SIL just cab swapped his 85 K10. I was fortunate enough to have bought new cab mount bushings from the Holley/Brothers clearance a year or so back. It worked out great as getting things lined up was not an issue at all having new bushings that were not like the 40 year old "plum...
