    I used my buddy’s big Milwaukee a while back. It was stout! Very strong. And their batteries seem to be easy to find replacements for. That said, any of the reputable brands would work well. Seems like most folks get started with one brand and stick with them so the batteries are cross compatible.

    Getting close on the block, awaiting final word from the machinist- he’s apparently coming in to work on it Sunday because he’s trying to get caught up. Did some more cleaning today- bolted in the new motor mounts and brackets. Put a fresh coat of paint on the brake booster and the wiper motor.

    Coming along- did the core support with Eastwood Rust Encapsulation, and started in on the primer on the frame and crossmember. Where the black paint will border with the old grease and paint, I’ll just lighten up on the coat and leave it be.
