    Pressure Brake Bleeding Question

Yep, it's a bit fiddly to get it set up. Pump it up to 10 PSI or so and make sure it holds pressure before opening any bleeders. It works slick!

Wire for oil sending unit/gauge cannot be found...help!

Not a very good picture and wiring is pretty faded but on my 78 K10 the dark blue is oil pressure sending unit and dark green goes to coolant temp. You were correct.

    My guess, it'll be over $35,000. She's a beauty!

    Where does this wire go?

Here's a picture of my alternator wiring if it helps. FYI there was a fairly recent thread from a member that accidentally melted the fusible link when one of the alternator lugs grounded out when he was adjusting belt tension. Rubber boot or some type of insulation recommended.

Early squares. Wanna go h4? Toyota has a killer deal

Received mine too, opened one box and agree it was money well spent. When life slows down I'll get back on my K10 projects.

    Power Tour 2026

Not part of "Power Tour 2026" but similar since it's related to the 100th Anniversary of Route 66. Derek Bieri from Vice Grip Garage is the one that motivated me to find and save a squarebody. It's a pretty long video and unfortunately the ending isn't what he'd hoped for. You can scroll...

Radiator Support Bushings: Is this correct?

Not certain, but it appears the holes have been slightly enlarged by someone? I bought a set from LMC when I replaced mine: https://www.lmctruck.com/body-components/body-mounting/cc-1973-87-polyurethane-cab-mount-bushing-set @legopnuematic was typing same time as me and has the likely solution...

Early squares. Wanna go h4? Toyota has a killer deal

Shipping cost seems to have ruined it for me too but haven't bought headlights in quite a while...is $48.99 for a set the going rate even if purchased locally? It wouldn't shock me if it is, anyone priced windshield wipers lately??

    Modify your wiper arms…

I ordered up a set of the Dormans mentioned above from Summit Auto. They arrived today and I'm really happy with how they fit, the splines seem nice and tight. I took them back off for now until I get a set of 18" blades. The old Trico arms on the right were getting weak.

What have you done to your square lately??

Power steering pump had been squealing a bit (belt was tight and fluid level was fine) and finally developed a major leak. Pretty sure it was the OEM pump from 1978 so it earned a rest! Replaced it with a Lares pump from Rock Auto. I have no idea what the fluid was in the old pump, it...

    Behind seat

I don't think so, this was a hardworking Iowa farm truck with the factory AM radio it's whole life until 2023 when I bought it. They were just 2 "snap in" plastic louvered vents. The openings had been crudely cut with a jigsaw or sawzall...rough jagged edges.

    Behind seat

The previous owner of my rig cut 2 big holes in the back of the cab for some sort of vents that constantly leaked. I had to to do some "creative" patchwork after I removed them. From the inside I used 2 layers of Kilzmat sound deadening plus a metal storage shelf I'd been wanting. I attached...

    carb connections...vacuum booster connection

Mine is 3/8 OD steel line. I took another close up picture of the fittings. LMC has some of the parts available if you decide to replicate the OEM setup: https://www.lmctruck.com/mechanical/brakes/cc-1973-87-brake-master-cylinder-and-components
