    The problem is probably a small leak in the offending tanks return line. A hole in a vent hose would vent 24/7 not just when running off one tank or the other. A leak in a pressure line would probably make itself very evident very quickly. A return line has no pressure and is tied to the tank...

    The blend doors operate off of vacuum. So does the cruise control. And with a vacuum leak your map sensor won't read engine load correctly so fuel and spark will be incorrect,in closed loop.

    I'd open it up and to charge the battery banks directly,or wire them to a charged battery of sufficient voltage to put a charge in them. Sometimes if the battery bank falls below a given voltage,the BMS won't recognize it,and the charger will not charge it. I've revived lots of brand new LiOn...

    Okay which is it? The driver? Or the harness? Now if you swap #2 and #4 and the problem moves to #4 you have verified that it is a signal problem. If it stays on #2 then you still haven't found the problem.IDC what you do it may be a driver or a harness. I'd have already done a volt drop test...

    When you create your own thread. State whether anything has been deviated from stock and make sure everyone knows it's California spec. California is different. Different,carb,ignition,and has a controller for the carb and ignition. The rest of the US does not in 86.

    I would definitely install a drain plug or buy a pan with a plug. Drain and fill your transmission 4 times in the next month,just drain the pan and pour in fresh fluid. That will swap out most of the fluid. Then do a spill and fill every 6 months and your transmission will be happy.

    As long as the vent is clear all the way to the tank and your filter is not clogged you shouldn't need a vented cap. Are you the same guy I told to blow through the line sure it's clear?YOU blow through the line not 100psi compressed air through the line.

    Your tanks won't vent properly unless there's a leak somewhere in the evap system such as a vented cap. You will draw a vacuum in the tank and starve for fuel. Properly setup the charcoal canister allows the tank to breath,helps keep moisture out of the tank,and fumes out of your garage.

    Make sure the vent line from the tank to the front of the truck is clear. Can you blow through it. With your mouth and a hose.
