    Echoing what others have said, now's the time to add the factory tach while you're in there. You already have to buy a new cluster back and it's the same cost with or without tach. Ought to get a printed circuit too since the back was so old it crumbled, so you're like 1/3 of the way there...

    So an update on this. Found the cause of the belt coming off. Bracket bolts for P/S and A/C were loose. Looking for what may have caused that and found both motor mounts shot and trans mount shot so my guess is the excess vibration shook some bolts loose? Replaced all, tightened everything...
