Where to get Chevy Rally Wheels
I found mine off Craigslist. Just do a search around you for what you're willing to drive. I got luck that a guy an hour a way had them, with centers for $30 each. Do you think you could replace a powersports battery with a deep cell/car battery
You could always run a small group size combo battery. I run one of those on my boat for starting (and backup shore power, and a second deep cycle for stereo and air pumps). The boat has a 4.3 V6 engine.- GXPWeasel

I would mirror the previous words of bounce being caused by worn shocks, and add the fact that you have additional weight on the rear when towing. I'm not the most familiar with the front suspension on these trucks, but I don't believe you will be able to add a taller spring (factory) back between the control arms, with a drop spindle. Keep the drop springs, but put stock spindles back on. You can see if there are poly bump stops that are shorter. I had an '01 that was lowered 6" that permanently rode on the factory bump stops. Hub centric rings
This is why when I rotate tires, or ever have the wheels off of anything (including when I worked for Ford / Chevy) I would install the wheel with all lug nuts finger tight, then lower the vehicle enough to get the tires to touch a bit, and not spin when I torque the nuts down a little. Are any sway bar mods needed after lowering?
That looks pretty good. Are those tires taller than factory, or do they just look that way because of it being lowered? Look a bit taller to me, and like they really fill out the wheel wells.- GXPWeasel

Yep, master cylinder. My other guess would have been leaking into the booster, if you didn't see any leaks on the ground, but fluid level was low. This has happened to me before as well.- GXPWeasel

Those S-10 trucks with the 4.3L are quick little trucks. I ordered one new in 2001. Bare bones options on the inside, with the Sport Appearance package, (the Camaro looking 5 spoke aluminum wheels) 4.3 V6, and the 5 speed. That truck was fun. Great looking project!- GXPWeasel
