There is no such thing as too much cooling for an automatic transmission. If you already have it, and are installing the new radiator/fans install it. That's what I would do. May want to install a transmission temperature gauge as well. Easy for me to spend your time and money though! -

S10 driveshaft replacement question
Ted, if you have a torch, heat the ends of the shaft where that poly glue stuff is and it will melt and run out thru the small openings on the yoke ends. Make sure to allow it to cool to room temp, then normal u-joint replacement methods work. Without a press you can use a vice and combination...- Poppy 87

Transmission fluid expands as it heats up. Start your truck cold, check fluid level, add if necessary to the bottom of the cross hatch area on dip stick. Go on a test drive 10-15 miles to warm up the transmission fluid and check level again. This is where you bring fluid to the "full" mark by... -

Doug, as long as you have the correct dipstick, on a level surface (your oil stained driveway), start it up and check fluid level. If no indication on stick, I add in 1/2 quart (pint) increments until the "full cold" mark. Drive it around a little bit, Home Depot run, beer run, then check when... -

I don't think that is correct. Short of an improperly set up differential, (pinion depth, pre-load, back lash) any "movement" would be negligible. Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk
