88 R1500 Suburban - How to go back to stock height?
Not sure about the suburbans, but the pickups had 2 different spindles. The brake rotor thickness determines which is correct. The rotors are either 1" or 1.25" thick. Find out what your suburban has before you go shopping- Poppy 87

Excess Rear End Backlash
Brandon, the symptom you describe sounds more like a pinion bearing than spider gears. The gears in your picture look pretty good to me. Spider gears usually don't have intermittent noise.- Poppy 87

How to Identify a 700r4
I mentioned this before on a different post, but having worked in a transmission shop from 1980 to 1990, we would not build pre 1986 700's. This was a 10 bay transmission shop that probably built about 20 700's per week. Some people just won't listen when GOOD advise is given- Poppy 87

Sticky Clam issue.
I would try to swap which sensor your fans are monitoring and check results. The "known" 20 degree split seems to indicate a faulty sensor- Poppy 87

My 1982 Buick Grand National Project basket case
